Mesen-S is a freeware emulator app and developed by M Bibaud for Windows.
The download has been tested by an editor here on a PC and a list of features has been compiled; see below. We've also created some screenshots of Mesen-S to illustrate the user interface and show the overall usage and features of this emulation program.
Powerful Super Nintendo emulator with tons of features
Mesen-S is a high-accuracy SNES emulator for Windows and Linux. Game Boy and Game Boy Color games are also supported, along with Super Game Boy emulation.
It's a fork of Mesen, an open-source, cross-platform emulator for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES). It is developed by the same team as Mesen and shares many of the same features and capabilities.
The main difference between Mesen and Mesen-S is the latter is for emulating Super Nintendo games (SNES ROMs).

Compatibility and License
Mesen-S is provided under a freeware license on Windows from console emulators with no restrictions on usage. Download and installation of this PC software is free and 0.4.0 is the latest version last time we checked.
What version of Windows can Mesen-S run on?
Mesen-S can be used on a computer running Windows 11 or Windows 10. Previous versions of the OS shouldn't be a problem with Windows 8 and Windows 7 having been tested. It runs on both 32-bit and 64-bit systems with no dedicated 64-bit download provided.
